In the recently concluded UP Fair 2023, Dimensions took more than 16,000 people out of their tranquil nights and brought them to a different world of live music experience.

Famous personalities that we so often watch on different social media platforms were present to host the event, including Rain Matienzo, a former UAAP courtside reporter who now works as an artist in Sparkle GMA Artist Center, Dani Buenvenida, a candy magazine rookie and TikTok content creator, and Bong Gonzales, a social media influencer who's also the UAAP Season 80 Rookie of the Year. Monster RX 93.1 Student Jocks Fiona Bacani and Carla Elizaga who were correspondents for UAAP Season 84 and 85, respectively, also hosted the said event. Alongside them are Chez Cuenca, also a Monster RX 93.1 Student Jock, Marga Esquillo, Radio DJ at Q Radio 105.1, and Yani Mayo, the UAAP Segment Producer, and Volleyball Anchor.

Different speakers were invited to amplify UP Fair Dimension's advocacy for sustainable and inclusive transport. Kuya Nolan, the President of UP-SM North Jeepney Line, graced the fair with his presence and voice to strengthen the people's call for a better transportation system. Such advocacy is further backed by Ira Cruz, the Director of AltMobility PH, and Kate Almenzo, an activist of Anakbayan and the President and Founder of Rise for Education, Rizal Technological University. These people stood up to highlight how benefit concerts like Dimensions do not just shed music in the dark, but also, puts light on the relevant issues and societal gaps that must be heard and addressed.

Moving forward with the night, the crowd went wild when their favorite artists finally took their music up to the stage. Attendees were jumping to the beats of the song as different bands showed up and played their music live for the fair. The audience felt the "Throwback Thursday" with songs like Orange & Lemons' Yakap sa Dilim and Hanggang Kailan, Mayonnaise's Jopay and Synesthesia, and The Itchyworms' Beer and Akin Ka Na Lang. The concert was also filled with romantic air as a famous singer, Adie, played his love songs, including Mahika and Paraluman. One line in his song, Mahika, Giliw 'di mapigil ang bugso ng damdamin ko,” seemed to sum up the feelings of the crowd. Everyone’s heart was overwhelmed with excitement and joy because the spaces felt loud and lively again for the first time after a while.

Dimensions’ complete lineup includes Any Name's Okay, Autotelic, Lola Amour, Orange & Lemons, Unique Salonga, The Itchyworms, Cup of Joe, Zil, Mayonnaise, Adie, Kean Cipriano, Ysanygo, Carousel Casualties, Keneniah, Over October, Al James, The Band Astra, Ebe Dance, and The Random Collective.

Dimensions were held at Sunken Garden, University of the Philippines Diliman. Even past midnight, the grounds were not emptied as everyone cherished the time of their lives for the first UP Fair after the pandemic.

Attendees who want to reminisce about the heartfelt concert can now look up Dimensions’ playlist on Spotify. Those who were not able to attend can access the playlist as well so they can look forward to the next concert that would awaken their soul and take them to a different dimension through the power of music.
