Dela Kate, On Achieving Her Dream Body and Developing a Healthy Relationship with Food

With over 253.4K followers and 4.6M likes on TikTok, Dela Kate is churning out content consistently with topics ranging from relatable situations like having a #kilig moments with your crush, going on awkward reunions with friends, and of course, working out and eating right. On Instagram where she has over 3,000 followers, she shares fun stories about her adorable cat, her brand endorsements, and her school work–all of which are interesting and fun to check out any time of the day, especially when you’re feeling down. It’s pretty much why Dela Kate used her platform to share her story in the first place: she was once at rock bottom herself. In her exclusive interview with us, she shared how her fitness journey all began with people complaining about sitting next to her because of how big she was. It made her feel like the world was against her, therefore making her want to disappear. But just like any superstar, she made a pivot that changed her life and many others whom she has inspired. After losing weight thanks to her consistent workout and eating habits, she jumped on TikTok and shared her weight loss journey, which was akin to a rebirth.

Cliff Eala, On Life and Work Design “That Gets You Out of Bed” for Entrepreneurs

A wise man once said, “Without passion, you’re as good as dead.” While there is some truth to this, the idea of having passion in everything you do seems like a fairy tale that very few can manifest in real life. Practicality and reality must be our priority, especially if you’re an entrepreneur. That’s one of the many beliefs that this week’s featured CEO and serial entrepreneur, Cliff Eala, and I’m with him on that.

The Power Within: Roland Ros on Building Kumu, The Social Media Disneyland of Technology

Roland is an extra-mile walker and a genuine soul. Because of some technical difficulties on my end during the interview, he agreed to reschedule, which is very rare considering his tight calendar, and came through. And when the interview happened, listening to him chronicle his days in Los Angeles taking advanced classes at UCLA while in high school, spending one summer at Stanford, and reading Siddhartha in 7th grade was inspiring. He shared how he got into hip-hop culture to avoid gangs, how he met his other co-founder, Rexy Dorado, and how he found his way back to the Philippines–a place he was always interested in and once he finally arrived, a place he said felt like home. And just like the superstar that he is, he wanted to come home and make an impact. And he sure did that with Kumumedia Technologies, or simply, Kumu–short for ‘Kumusta.’

Product Review | Goodies That Greet You - Iris Bites Chocolate Chip Cookies

Iris Bites' Chocolate Chip Cookies are definitely unique, at least for me. Its cute beady eyes really stood out to me. I mentioned in my previous review that you kinda make 'eye contact' with the cookie when you first bite into it. My friends would even joke that the cookies are sentient beings. Despite that, my family and I definitely enjoyed the experience.
